Happy New Year everyone, hope the holidays were good to ya! i'm going to keep all the negative things that i could rant about out of this(except i have been sick all this week, ugh :( ), hence the title B+.
today i am going uptown for a information session of what possibly could lead to a job. i saw this posting for "health/wellness" coach and i thought, "i could do that"t , since i am quite involved with my own health and still successfully keeping weight off, exercising and eating good. this would be a blessing if i am chosen because life has been tough unemployed.
i am worried about my appearance. i am not your typical gym looking person. long hair and a beard. gonna have to braid my hair. and i guess take my nose ring out and put my stud back in cause i dont have a retainer. their email back to me, which was immediate, said "informal" but "business casual", i hope what i have is appropriate but i cant see to much going on since its not a "interview".
so all in all, i have to say i tried, even if my appearance is a disadvantage. though i am willing of shaving the beard off if necessary.
the weather could be alot better, rain all day.
