tonight i am going to see the DEATH TO ALL tour. it is name of the band DEATH to celebrate CHUCK SCHULDINER in AID OF SWEET RELIEF! great cause to help save lives. he was one of the greatest guitarist! been a big fan since i was a young metalhead journeying into Death Metal. they are playing as the "HUMAN" lineup, great fucking album, one of my favorites. they do have a vocalist which i dont know much about and quite curious about! cause Chucks vocals were definitely on a level other than any other death metal singer. (not to mention his cover "Pain Killer"! sick!!) supporting acts are ANCIIENTS, BELIEVER, and CURSE OF SAMSARA. i only really heard of Anciients. from my knowledge i believe it is going to be a collaboration of songs from Scream Bloody Gore, Leprosy, Human and Spirital Healing. im fuckin excited!! for me Sprital Healing is my all time favorite!! i am off from work and fucking gun ho!
life... well since i cant quit work yet cause i have no back up, i asked to move to a different area. i am hoping for different work but my main supervisor gave me 2 options so far, which i dont like but working for shipping business you have no choice cause as shitty as it is, you just are a "package handler". you stay in one spot due to respect, that is all. so i am a little happier about that. it was somethin i really needed to for my time being there.
this week ive been quite head strong and i like it. keeping myself in positive thoughts and kicking negativities ass! life isnt in control, I AM! thats why i try to keep telling myself. no more dwelling on bullshit, its time to get on track and fucking live to the fullest! (i sound corny i know but life has thrown me alot of curve balls) i can give credit to something on Facebook, METAL MOTIVATION. ive known of it for awhile but never read into it. just some metalhead who happens to went to college, business, psychology etc and made a brand of his own. (i probably sound like a quack! lol) in all simplicity, hes a motivator. its pretty cool i think. something that definitely interested me since im in a rut. useful information to get your mind outta the gutter and start rollin.
today i had an eye exam for contacts, finally! havent had them in years and im sick of wearing glasses everyday. after that i went to the art store. picked up the block print tools i needed and some more linoleum. so i looked forward to do more of that.
well i must be gettin ready. thinking of bringing out of retirement, my prize possession DEATH's shirts. tho it is super huge since i lostweight. i got it from Chuck's mom mail order when i was young. i have the package saved somewhere with her name of it. im quite fond of it. i dunno, im a music nerd!
