well it has been a fairly quiet weekend which is rare but i dont mind. yesterday was probably the most fulfilling day. i had to get some art supplies from Blick to finish up my vest. hopefully what i bought will help the process get done quicker. i never used to use transfer paper but now a days i feel a little hopeless to directly draw on something but i used to and it would come out perfect. dont know why i care so much now a days. anyway, hoping to get my vest in some metal shape for this fridays Mayhem Fest. so after i got what i needed and i met up with my sister. another rare occasion cause we can enemies most of the time. so i pretty much spent the day with her, it was cool except looking at womens clothing, uggghhhh! no man likes doin that! haha. then we walked down to South St, she wanted to eat, i was more concerned about a beer haha. stopped in Manny Browns, cool bar, hot as hell tho but cute waitresses ill say hehe. secondly i had to stop in a head shop to get papers, Rizla, my favorite. down the street we stopped in Dobbs, which ive never been in and shes knows people in there. pretty cool bar. the band i caught coulda put me to sleep, kinda like indie rock or somethin. from my knowledge it seems like they dont like the attraction that metal brings. i can understand if you have a certain way you want the bar to be but that just aint for my ears ha. and actually the High point, they have a "green room" on the 3rd floor, which makes me think how do they get away with that but thats fuckin cool. right up my alley. so i think i should start expanding my horizons rather than lookin at the same old drunken friends, i need some new friends that are more in tune with the things i am into. so a long walk home because the bus was nowhere in sight. all in all a pretty good day. of course the low note, dont look forward to work this week, i need a vacation! argghh
