my nipples are now pierced. they discounted me $5, since i got them both done. as expected, the second hurt worse than the first, as my body was primed for pain. i used EMLA cream, available on BMEzine's merchandise site, as a topical anaesthetic. it performed its function, but its penetration was relatively minimal. the first piercing felt only like a pinch. for anyone getting their nipples done, i suggest they get them done on separate days. fucking endocrine system.
for those interested, i will post an amateurish photo on my pix page, taken with a very shitty digital camera. it will be deleted and replaced a.s.a.p., but it's all i have for now.
