thanks for the kind words. nice to see people reach out in times of need. i hope your grams comes out of things ok. just by being there you're doing a lot. took me a while to understand that when my dad was falling ill. i kept trying to control the situation and make things better, but i was just spinning my wheels. in retrospect, it was the time i spent with him that made the most difference. i need to remember that with my mom as well. it's so hard, though when you know they're suffering.
