i checked out my grades yesterday for school and i did pretty good, i was happy with my schedule for next term its sweet, i get a 4 day weekend, woohoo! plus i dont have many classes on the other days either. lots of free time...so lots of time to kick ass! i think my goal is pretty much to do freelance work - for those who arent art fags that means that i get to work from the comfort of my home for clients and i hear if you work it right you can end up making some good cash! i think i would like the freedom of that of course i might have to start out working at an agency to get a little experience and get my foot in the door, but there is no way that eventually i cant be in that position.
i dont go back to school until like the 12th and although this free time is great, im really kind of bored now and lately i have been loving the HBO series six feet under...i have been watching so many episodes lately to keep myself occupied...i think i will also do a few more paintings before school starts again...
uhm also i have a sort of penpal dude in austrailia and he has never seen snow before in his life and wants to and he is fascinated with toronto and the cn tower and stuff and so i decided im going to toronto tomorrow to get my new digital camera and when i do im going to fool around in the snow and make him a video of around the area and burn it onto a cd and send it...im gunna make a snowangel and maybe snowman on video...then maybe throw snowballs at some random people and duck...and eat snow....yeah should be good times...

You picked a good day to go to Toronto for snow. It's snowing like hell outside right now.
The nice thing about freelance work is that you don't have to have any professional experience to do it. By the time I'd finished highschool I'd already had a few freelance jobs under my belt. Is it websites you want to do? That's what I started with. The easiest way to get started would be to start asking people you know if they need that kind of work done. If not, try some local small businesses. Once you've got a portfolio built up you can start getting bigger more high-profile jobs.

Last year I did freelance work. It's got a lot of benefits, but the main downside is stability. You always have to be out looking for more work.
