It was very sad indeed. I knocked it over accidentally and it only fell about 10 inchs, and landed on carpet! But the spout broke. I would have glued it back together, but I couldn't find one of the pieces. I howled when it happened, I was so upset! Ironically, an hour before I broke it my little sister called to see if I still wanted a teapot so she could get me one for my birthday. Damn!
