So i went to a New Age store 2 nights ago and needless to say walked intoe a conversation between the clerk a girl ,,and the girsl mother and well then they asked me what goth was ,,casue the womans daughter was into that stuff ,,but well teh daughter was only 15 and at that age you usually dont knwo the history , at that age you think EVERYTHING in hot topic is cool and is "what is in". So basically they asked me waht is goth basically and well nothavieng that one book that explains it all to them i jsut did the longest speach in my life which was 3 hours telling htem what goth was ,,i gave history , band expamples old and new ( which not even that 15 year odl had heard of due to teh fact she hasnt exploredthe underground side or knew hte history at all), i gave references ,,places to go, magazines to read. iwanted to tellehr which bands were posers and jsut pop culture but didnt want o burst her buble ,,i'llleave that up to ehr but by the end they were amazed at my speach and i got questison back too.........so this is rahter strange for me, ive never had peopel interested so much inthe subject that they wanted to learn. althoguh im jsut telllingthem what took me hours of reserch and experience to learn sicne i realyl had no help finding out about the stuff when i first started to liek the genre.
