handed out candy this evening for the first time in years. half the kid's didn't even dress up. of the kids that did, about half of them didn't say 'thank you'. of the ones that didn't say thank you, about half were too old to be out looking for candy. of the ones that were too old, about half didn't dress up....and so on. now, i'm horrible at math / fractions, but if memory serves, this adds up to about....SUCK!!

the shows we played last weekend went pretty well. uptown was great, and people seemed to really dig the format (round-robin style). saw some people i hadn't seen in way too long, and overall, had a very nice time. duluth was...well, duluth. it's my hometown, and i love it, but the music 'scene' is still pretty wishy-washy. pizza luce is quite grand, though. the people / pizza are spectacular.

bo sox won the series, and i'm pretty sure this means the world is coming to an end. this will be confirmed on tuesday if bush defeats kerry. i'm pretty confident that won't happen, but i was pretty confident that i was going to be a 7 time all-star for the twins by now, and i'm nowhere near an all-star (well, depends on what we're talking about, i suppose).

one of these days i'm going to venture out and meet some of you. by 'one of these days', i mean some time in the next few months or so.....i hope.
