Had an awesome weekend with mark and chrissy, upto the usual hi jinx (read as eating too much, drinking too much, me and mark acting like 5year olds in public places, caroline and chrissy patiently putting up with us
) can't wait for another weekend, and this time will make sure the terrible 6some will be in full force with Jennie and Alex with us (really sorry for the big misunderstanding guys!!! we fucked up!! rest assured we love you and you are always invited to see us!!!) apparently its going to be pissing it down all week, so perfect weather for a Leeds BBQ?? what do you reckon guys....lol
unfrotunately I don't seem to have many pictures, I'll leave that to caroline with her new Hello Kitty digital camera
speaking of which we found the hello kitty shop just on the outskirts of town...its amusing how much me and maerk moan, but encouirage them just to see the big smiles on your missuses face....we're a pair of soppy twats deep down, thats why we over compensate by being dirty perverted bastards!!
on the job front, things may be looking up, I had an interview last thrusday, and I really liked the sound of the job, and I was speaking to the guy interviewing me, who had got promoted to manager within 10months, and theuy are a company keen on promoting young talent, and they called me about an afterwards to say they really wanted me, and would call this week top confirm the exact position/pay they will offer, so fingers crossed....
I saw my manager, who offered me a choice of 2 jobs I can apply for...one is with my old department, as a team leader, but I would feel bad, cos i have some good freinds there, who I know have been waiting about 8months for the job to come up, and I don't want to pinch one in a sideways transfer/relocation, cos they do deserve it, and I know have been working their arses off for the last 18months to get it....so morraly |I am turniong that down....and it also involved working 3 weekends in 5 and 3 late shifts a week monimum...lol....
the second role, was working for the bussiness support team, which i know for a fact is where all the calls managers don't want to deal with are sent to, and its also where they send all the admin shit they don't know what to do with, and is generally the whipping boy of the team....and it would mean a 4-6grand paycut....mmm...how about No!!!
anyway, thats about where I am so far....except mentioning that I have a hangover from hell, and somehow managed to consume half a bottle of southern comfort and nearly the same amount of Grey Goose vodka last night, I remember being a bit of a wanker then being put to bed
