After the amazingness that was the weekend, and a monday seeing the lovely purplesiamese gettign one hell of a tattoo, and being very brave as its the biggest she's had...tattoo wise...babies arm holding an apple if your wondering...lol....and i can't wait to see it finsihed!!

However today, came back to earth and was back at work....fuck its dull!!! and soul destroying to boot, I was contemplating begging my manager to let me transfer internally if i applied for a new position, however there is nothing I want/can do there, i want to get back into being a team leader/manager, rather than this customers whipping boy/babysitter/sales rep.... i have just been thinking about the long term, and the career progression is just another 4-8 years of the same role but the customers borrow more money for bigger business type things, mostly just buying property, but in terms of skills and abilities there is no real development, its just bigger numbers and bigger targets with more pressure, rather than an actual progression, and after 10years you may get to be an Area Manager with very poor leadership/managment skills....

so inspired by High Fidelity (one of my favourite films) here it is...
My Top 5 Career Choices

1. Millionaire Rockstar drummer....
2. Fetish/Porn/Erotic/Bad Ass Photogrpaher/Film Maker
3. Chef/Cook...a little cafe serving decent food with rock n roll decor and cute waitress girls with lip rings on a gap year from America or Italy...or something similar...
4. Run a Taco Stand in Mexico
5. Writer...reviews, magazine articles, maybe a documentary or two....

Those are my ideas, what are your suggestions for my talents, and how I can achieve some of those ideas.... you may notice Senior Business Manager for a Multinational Bank isn't one of them....lol or a team leader, but hey i'm a realist....a cousin of my said most people in the world would settle for a job they can get up and go to without feeling dread everyday.....I have that dread everyday, and every evening, its impossible to relax at the minute, i feel ill and restless....i'm not a happy bunny...



yeah, so any suggestions would be lovely!!
if anyone knows how I can get paid to watch daytime tv, south park, Dirty Sanchez, Jackass, Mike Strutter and alan partidge all day, i'd be super!!

i think this man is my internal dialogue at the minute...not good...
