I went to a Chinese restaraunt with my older brother and my mother this evening. My Mom was sitting in the back seat.
She started rummaging through the cds laying on the seat beside her.
Slayer's album "Reign In Blood" was the one that caught her attention.
"Put it in." she said.
My Mom loves Slayer. My Mom is also 50 years old and a pretty good Christian. She has adored Slayer for about a year now. Not the typical Slayer fan, I imagine.
She mentioned she wanted Slayer albums for Christmas. heheh.
I love my Mom. She is the coolest Mother in existence. I swear.

Damned Christmas presents. I have like zero money now.. I dont have money to pay bills. Fun. Good thing my brother (whom I live with) has a decent job and will let me slide with my part of the bills for a bit. Gotta love my brother.

I guess I will be enjoying meal after meal of ramen for a while.
puke
Not a favorite of mine.

True, I might miss the states. But what I would miss would be the USA that I grew up with. When politics didn't effect me(or didn't think they did), when I didn't hate, or fear the government. I probably won't move(typical american, no follow thru), I'm just pissed that ppl might think that Bush is a good pres because our troops found Saddam.
I'm broke from x-mas too, couldn't buy a newspaper if I wanted too. Sounds like a very cool mom indeed.

Ooohhh... must mention Tangerine Dream's "Optical Race". Great album.

Except I also have to mention "Underwater Sunlight".

Well, and "Rubycon".

Not that I'm a fan, or anything... smile
