Today i worked really hard at slacking off and it made the day much more enjoyable, why i never thought of this before is beyond me.
I took time putting out CDs, talking to friends who came in, pretending to read staff info stuff, getting drinks of water, convincing people they should be pirates, playing 'magic security tag' with Zam and seeking out customers who i knew thought would have ridiculously complicated enquiries that would keep me off the till...
I served a guy who had the same surname as me and when i started talking to him about it he asked me if i was going to Global Gathering tonight...I looked at him thinking "i would rather eat my own feet than go there" but i made other excuses.
Our security guard also made me smile when he literally threw this thief out of the store. He went flying, reminded me of uncle phil throwing jazz out of the house in Fresh Prince.
