Melissa, Chris (brother), and I went to see Radiohead last night. It was friggin' awesome! The suck part was that they couldn't come play Chicago...y'know...the third biggest city in the country? No. Instead, they opted for East Troy, WI in the middle of fuckin' nowhere and I had to drive through God knows how many cornfields to get there. It was a pretty decent ampitheatre except I didn't like the fact that it didn't slope down enough. I could barely see the stage. At least they had some projection screens. They started with their newer stuff and then played mostly older stuff the rest of the show. I heard pretty much everything I was hoping they'd play...Just, Karma Police, Paranoid Android, Fake Plastic Trees, Idiotheque, Everything in its right place, and on and on. Although Thom is a very talented song-writer and musician, that limey bastard can't dance for shit! I swear, I thought he was going into convulsions or having a seizure or something. They had some shirts that had some lyrics from a newer song written in this really cool script font. They were stupidly expensive, so I wasn't going to get one but Melissa ended up buying one for me as another b-day present (the concert was also for my b-day.) That girl rawks. I told her I don't want her getting me anything else but she said she's still going to. Oy. I dunno what I did to deserve her. Anyway, a good time was had by all. Hurrah for Radiohead.
