@caraphernelia, it's definitely gotten better. Just continuing to follow the prescription instructions, which is to use the drops 4 times a day for 7 days, which ends tomorrow night. Thank you for your concern. Much appreciated.

Enjoy the new gear! I think the only thing I ever received by accident was a DVD of the original Pirates of The Caribbean movie. Definitely not as good as a new lens!!

@floydian, I tested it out last night with a few shots of the Las Vegas Strip from about 5-7 miles away. The spot I shot from is behind the gym I workout at, about a mile and a half from my house. They look good on the back of the camera, but I haven't had time to download them and see them full screen yet. I will post them when I do.
