Good Evening SG Land! Greetings to my faithful followers, loyal friends and random stumble uponers. It's Wednesday again and that means it is time for DeadGuitarist's Weekly WCW Blog!

Every once in a while, I come up with a theme for my WCW blog. If you remember two weeks ago, my SG WCWs were WOC: @midnightsun, @dulceamargo. I thought I'd do another themed WCW...

Congratulations! You got what you wanted. I hope I'm wrong and this works out better than expected, BUT...

If this turns into a disaster; if America burns; if the country tears itself apart from the inside out... you, Mr. (And Mrs.) Trump Supporter, cannot jump off the bandwagon. You must ride this train wreck until it comes to a complete stop. No do overs. No...

@zebrah, despite my disappointment with the election result, it's actually a pretty good day so far.

Like so many other Americans, I am stunned.

Now that's it's a reality and Trump will reside in the White House for at least 4 years, what kind of clown did we elect?

Did we elect the funny, happy, goofy, benevolent clown?

Or the evil, sadistic, killer clown?

Or the crazy, neurotic, sociopathic clown?

Or the one that promotes anarchy and wants everything to burn?

@skisby, I'm well aware of the demographics of those who voted for Trump and those who did not.

Greeting faithful followers, loyal friends and random stumble uponers!

I wasn't going to do the Urban Legend blog homework because I didn't think I knew of any Las Vegas or Nevada "urban" legends. But the more I thought about it, I realized I did know of one. It's not really a Las Vegas urban legend, but it's close enough. And a simple Google search reminded...

@floydian, glad you liked it. I've been to Rhyolite, but it was in the 80s. I was on a geology weekend field trip to Death Valley and we stopped in Rhyolite for a short rest stop to hunt through talus piles looking for interesting rocks, minerals and crystals. Definitely need to go back. We also stopped at Calico, which was a ghost town until they turned it into a tourist attraction. Haven't visited Bodie... yet.

@hiptobes, there isn't really much to see at Area 51. You can't go in as it's restricted area. There is a restaurant / gift shop near it which has some pretty cool novelty souvenirs. I got a baseball cap that says "Area 51 Security" on it.

A few weeks ago I blogged that I was thinking of getting my hair colored. At the time, I was thinking blue or purple. But I had a brilliant idea 💡, which my wife had at virtually the same time, but independently. I should dye it white, silver or gray. My temples are already going white, in that Mr. Fantastic (Fantastic 4) way. And I

In the US I've heard it called No Shave November and Movember. They are essentially the same thing and yes it to raise awareness for men's health (in particular prostate cancer. I don't care for a full beard on me so I'll shave everything except the 'stache and partial goatee, but I will have to keep them trim and beat. So it's not completely a No Shave November for me. I don't look good (IMO) with unruly facial hair. I may keep them after November is gone.
hiptobes:
@deadguitarist good stuff, I did Movember last year it was my first clean shave in about 4 years. I hated every single day of November haha so this year I'm just going to donate instead of having people sponsor me.

One last blog post for the night...

This one's for those who have following me since before the summer. And for my new followers, I'll give a quick recap...

Last spring, my dad was diagnosed with a sarcoma cancer tumor beneath his right armpit. He had surgery to remove the tumor. Then they moved some muscle from his back to fill in the hole left...

@wickedargyle, you might be interested in this new series of blogs I'm going to write.

Tonight (Wednesday) was supposed to be a gym night. Meet with my personal trainer at 7:00 PM PT. But, as I mentioned in my WCW blog, he texted me late in the afternoon asking me if I could switch to tomorrow (Thursday). Not a problem.

But, I still needed to...

Good for you! There are always a million reasons NOT to work out. Way to stay motivated!

@floydian, cardio boxing is more fun that treadmills, ellipticals, stair masters or stationary bikes. I have to be careful with my left knee from a grade 2 strain of the medial collateral ligament in my left knee 6 1/2 years ago. It still gives me trouble once in a while. So I am reluctant to do any high impact exercises even light jogging. So right know I just do a brisk walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes after my strength training. But I don't think I get as much out of it as I do with 20-30 minutes of cardio boxing (which I do with boxing gloves).
