Although she was angry about getting fired for bogus reasons, in the two weeks Mrs. DeadGuitarist learned stuff (which is public knowledge) such as Faraday is being sued by multiple companies for not paying them for services. She also heard that they were having difficulty paying payroll. I also read that the primary Chinese investor, is also running out of money given his investment in Faraday and his other ventures. So it's probably a good thing she's not working there.

Sorry that all sucks. Sounds like you've got a good 'tude about it, hopefully she'll get back on her feet quick & gets that it wasn't actually her performance at all from the sounds of it.  Make good use of the extra time together!
