Lately, my sleep schedule has gotten out of whack on the weekends, resulting in me being tired on the weekends and sleeping half (or more) of the days away. Then being wide awake at night. The other effect is that I'm pretty tired throughout the day at work during the week. Not all of that can be attributed to me being a night owl.
A little earlier I thought of one possible reason why this could be happening...
I only have one night during the week where I don't have something to do...
I work Monday - Friday roughly 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. I sit at a desk testing software, writing automated tests, writing test documents and studying every day. I try to remember to get up occasionally and walk around for a short break.
But here is a rundown of my weeknights:
Monday - gym
Tuesday - bowling
Wednesday or Thursday - gym (the day depends upon my personal trainer's schedule)
Friday - bowling
I go to the gym at 8:00 PM or later so that the gym is less crowded (it's a 24 hour gym... I'd go after midnight when there are very few people there if it wasn't for the fact that I work during the day). So, I need some time to wind down and clean up after the gym.
So, during the week, I only have one evening each week where I don't have to go anywhere or do anything.
Maybe that's why I've been so tired on weekends lately. I dunno...
Stay Tuned...
