Going back to January for this one @missy and @rambo.
At my age, I need to get going if I'm going to cross off even a fraction of the stuff on my Bucket List. I'll start off with a few that I've crossed off so far.
1. Fly an F-16. Crossed off in 1992 while on temporary assignment in Turkey in support of Operation Provide...

For those of you who have been following my posts about my dad (like @thekarmaguy and @nebula), here's the latest news.
He got to come home last Friday. We left Memphis in time for him to get home and watch the first game of the College World Series, though I'm not sure how much of it he actually watched. I suspect he slept through a...

It's time for my WCW selections. If you've been following my rather irregular WCWs, I can almost never pick just one. I almost always seem to pick two and today is no different. To recap, here are my past WCWs:
@nebula - besides her obvious beauty and amazing tattoos, her love of the outdoors drew me to her. We've had some great conversations through comments...

Laugh louder. Love deeper. Smile wider. Reach higher. Go farther. Eat hearty. Feel deeply. Rock harder. Do something new. Do something crazy. Make someone smile everyday. Have fun. Life is short. Taken on 16 June 2016 on the Riverwalk in Memphis, Tennessee. I wish there had been more clouds, but if there had been it would likely had been raining, with thunder and lightning, like the night before. These were the best of the lot of about 60 I took. I did very little post-processing. All I did was bump up the clarity and vibrancy a bit on each photo in Adobe Lightroom. First time in a long time that I didn't have to make significant adjustments to the photos.
Or at least don't rain too hard around sunset. I want to go down one of the parks on the east bank of the Mississippi River here in Memphis tonight and shoot some sunset/dusk photos of the river and Memphis tonight because we'll be leaving Memphis for West Point, Mississippi tomorrow. Yes, that means my dad gets to go home tomorrow. YAY!
This will be short as I need to get ready to take my mom to breakfast and back to the hospital to visit my dad.
My dad is doing extremely well. He was moved out of his ICU room into a regular hospital room last night, though not until after we left the hospital for the day.
His doctors think he will be able to...
