I knew I would be. I went to sleep last night around 1:00 AM, but woke up a 4:45 AM. Went back to sleep at about 7:30 AM and slept until around 11:00 AM. Then I fell back asleep around 1:00 PM until 3:45 PM while watching a baseball game on TV.

So I knew I was going to be up all night, which sucks...

I was tagged by @thekarmaguy to list three movies I've watched way too many times... before I do, here's a little fact about me that people who've been around me know all to well:

I quote movies quite often.

That's when you know you've seen movies way too many times.

So without further ado, here are my three movies.

1. Bull Durham

Seriously, if I...

Yeah, I'm late on posting my WCWs this week as it is after midnight in Las Vegas. But there's still a few hours of Wednesday left in the Pacific... so technically, I'm not posting this on Thursday.

As per my custom, I have two WCWs again this week... because I can almost never just choose one.

My 1A WCW this week is Brazilian beauty, @vanp....

I snapped these photos in the mens restroom at a Jimmy John's in Las Vegas. Cracked me up!

And here's one from an urinal in a casino. It's hard to read, but there is a lock on the pipes. The name of the lock is Nut Locker.

Stay Tuned,

I'm using the concept from the blog homework I wrote about the 5 things I like best about Suicide Girls because it most accurately sums up what Suicide Girls is to so many people.

At Suicide Girls you can get advice, encouragement, assistance. You can learn about anything: people, cities, countries, cultures, hobbies, careers, professions and so much more.

It's a community where nothing is...

It's been a while since I picked up a guitar. In fact, I haven't picked one up and played since I got back from Mississippi on 05 July 2016. But I pulled one off the wall tonight, set up my Line 6 Pod X3 Live Effects board (instead of my stomp box pedal board), and plugged in. Played around with the Pod X3 for a...

I blogged a couple of times last month that I got promoted to Senior QA Engineer. There is a raise that goes along with it. But I haven't seen that raise yet.

But I'm not worried.

My General Manager is supposed to tell me about my raise but hasn't yet. He needs to talk with our CEO/President about all the raises going to people and...

@missy, @rambo, faithful followers and friends and random SG stumble uponers, I wasn't going to do this blog homework because I don't stress out. Or I should say, I rarely ever feel stressed out even when I am stressed out. Probably because of the following things I've learned over the years.

1. Don't stress out and worry about things over which I have no control....

Yeah tbh i'm leaning more towards getting a Tele, just because of the look of it, the feel of them and i'm a big Springsteen fan haha. Yeah I know there is no fast rule, yet some models do just feel better for certain things, maybe its my technique, though trying to learn sweep picking on my Strat copy is really difficult, feels like the action is too high on the strings. I imagine with a model like Ibanez or Jackson, its more geared for those techniques...
deadguitarist:
@cardinalfire, you're probably right in that Ibanez, Jackson, LTD, Dean guitars and others are set up for playing metal and shredding out of the box. But you can take your Strat copy to a good guitar tech and have him/her lower the action for you and make sure the intonation is spot on. I know the intonation is out of whack on one of my guitars (I forget which one, but I think it's my Westone).
