im fresh back from the roebling nj pool tournament. We made it to the second round alllll the way to the rubber match. I was of course picked to be the last one to play because im excellent under pressure and the pressure was fucking stacked.
He ranked 5.
i ranked 3.
which means that i have to win 2 games before he wins 4.
sounds easy right?.....
possibly.
(but you have that handicap to make things fair because you should be able to beat me at that rate)

i win the lag and break.
we went back and forth killing it. They were long games though because everything was straight up defensive shooting. The games were very well thought out and played like a great game of chess. I had a great shot every game including my bank on the 8 ball winning my first game and a 7 ball streak. At the end, we found ourselves at the rubber match... the defence was intense as we threw it back and forth at each other trying to make the other player give us ball in hand and in the end he came out on top. When he shot that 8 in he fucking came over and shook my hand and was like....holy fucking shit. They were all great sports about it and we all did very very well. THe other players came over and were like..."there is no way you are a fucking 3! lol".
So...i lost but i walk away not a looser.
we won $325
