I just found out last night that a dear sweet friend had passed away. Steve Bator Sr, father of the late Stiv Bators (the Dead Boys and Lords of the New Church) passed away on Friday. He was one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and I cherish the time I spent with him and his wife Marion. He was deifinitely where Stiv got his smile. Rest in peace Steve and give Stiv a big hug for me. 
Or maybe he won't.
Sorry to hear about your losing a friend though...that's always tough no matter what the circumstances. Sounds like he played an important role in your life, too. *hugs!*
