My family and work are driving me up the wall. Work has these "emergencies" and is always begging for overtime. I'm sick of working the graveyard shift and never seeing daylight. My family (Half-sister and her scumbag husband I can't stand) just assumes because I have a day off I'm coming over to dinner or doing whatever with them and never thinks about asking me if I have anything planned. Not to mention I can't stand to be around her husband, Mr flag waving ex-marine who thinks Bush is God. He's a diehard pushy Christian (even though he broke up my sister's first marriage to a wonderful man I consider a second Dad - I guess thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife doesn't apply to him) . And a few months ago he was bragging about how they used to torture and kill dogs when he was a marine. Some Christian. I love my sister but he is a complete asshole.
I'm seriously considering moving as far away from my family as possible and just starting a new life somewhere far away from them.
