Friday was a lovely sunny day. Naturally, we had a power outage and even though my computer was on a surge protector, my computer's motherboard got fried. Appalachian Power is the worst power company i've ever seen. In 4 years I've had 4 standalone dvd recorders and 2 computers die after their power outages. We lose power at least once monthly, even on perfectly sunny days. So once again not only did I have to buy a new computer, but I'll have to put a new motherboard in my old one to get it working. And those bastards want to raise their rates again. Isn't it grand to have a monopoly where you can charge customers for poor service, raise their rates, and they can't do a thing about it? Well, I will certainly be filing complaints with any government agency who will listen. I'd love to see a class action suit against them for all the customers who have had to replace belongings because of their incompetence.
