Well just taking an easy run on the first day of the trip. Just 450km. Will be following the truck of my old company for half the trip and they were very kinda and have given me a free hotel room for the night. The second day will involve about 700km to get to my next stop. Then i'll take half a day off from travel and do some sight seeing. then the next day should involve about 500km before i can find out what my new abode looks like and start to settle in before starting work on monday.

My old bosses are sad to see me go, and i'm sad to be leaving. You don't find bosses as generous as these anywhere. They are keeping the job here open for me til January too. I'm now very seriously thinking about working 6 months in each job. Not sure how the new company would take that though. but meh, i don't need their job. There is a mellon farm across the road and it turns out that i know the owner, so i can get a job there too if i want to...

but i should stop procrastinating again, the car is mostly packed, most of my washing is done, still have HEAPS of house work to do. i don't like house work. But i have 3 hours to get it done, so hopefully that is enough.

Not sure when i'll be back on here as i haven't sorted interweb out for the new place yet, as it is to far out of town to just transfer this one across.
