Time to make a few hard decisions. I've been in this town for a year and not made a single friend. So my nearest mates are over 2000km away. This is party due to work as i travel remotely often for a week at a time. The other cause is that this town is a heavy drinking town, and the pub bores me to hell! I don't drink and the idea of sitting in a pub is just stupid to me. I can't join a sports group up here cause they are really limited in choices, and since i've had a shoulder reconstruction 99% of the sports up here are out...
So i have to decide if i am going to stay here or move on and look for a job else where.... I like the job, i like my boss, i like the town. It's just so stupidly hard to get to know people here...

Funnily enough, the big Sake factory is in my neighborhood. Absinth doesn't really do it for me. Granted, i've never really had it 'properly'. Seems too much effort for a drink.
