Well I now know 6 people who are engaged. 5 of which i think i will be invited too , the other one i haven't had much to do with the couple in the last three years, so it's not a surprise to not be invited. no hard feelings there.
Wedding 1 is my brother (i need to learn to dance for this one + need new suit)
Wedding 2 is very good friend (so close she i like a lil sister. so happy for her)
Wedding 3 is on the other side of the bloody country (700km i think to get to the city, then another 100km by road to the weding)
Wedding 4 is a non invite event for me.
Wedding 5 is from my best mate ( which will happen sometime in the next 18 months they think)
Myself and another mate feel left out cause we are both closing in on 30 and are still single and can't seem to find anyone decent. So i sms'd her today with the irresistable offer of any plastic ring of her choice as an engagement ring so we could feel better. but she said no.
maybe it was the ring? maybe it was the idea of the wedding night 
or maybe the fact that although great mates we would kill each other if we lived together for more than 2 months....
