Caught up with an old friend over a few beers last night, and it was really nice. Headed into town avec "The Master of the Universe" hemaniscool, and met up with Jon, who I've known since I was 11, and who made up the final third of the founding members of REW.
History lesson required: REW stands for Razor's Edge Wrestling, which was a backyard federation we created, and ran, for some 5 years, before we got old and slow and life took over. We've still got a tonne of hilarious footage, and some really good shit (for anyone who understands wrestling) which I'm desperate to throw onto my hard drive/dvd.
Lesson over. So we talked about old times, recent times, women (that was a popular subject) and somehow I think we kind of agreed to embark upon a mission to get ourselves into really good shape. I'm kinda excited by this proposal cos I've been dabbling with the gym and fitness for years, but with other guys involved I think I could find the motivation I need to give this my absolute best shot. So it all starts today, hardcore style. I might throw a few progression photos up at some point.

Good news; I managed to swipe some AA batteries from my sky remote (which is defunct) and therefore, I am with Wii again. That sounds so wrong. I'm waiting for the postie to deliver some of the 10 albums I ordered on Play.com's sale. 10 albums for about 40 is so nice I'm still smiling.

I shall immerse myself in music for the rest of the day. Hurrah!
