Another day off, but oddly, missing work! I'm teaching Year 5 and possibly Year 6 tomorrow, so looking forward to seeing my smiley lovely Year 5s, and the little bastard Year 6s... I jest, they're all lovely really, I'm a lucky supply teacher!
Spent the morning playing the awesome awesome awesome Left4Dead on 360 with Hemaniscool, and had a blast (no pun intended). I used to consider myself a hardcore gamer, I'd not stop til I completed a game and unlocked everything, but these days I like games I can pick up and play, and come back to when I feel like it, and left4dead definitely felt like my kind of game.
The afternoon was less fun considering the front door has been painted and therefore had to be left ajar and my father is ridiculously worried about security and insisted on one person being upstairs and one downstairs until it dried...so I felt a bit imprisoned, which made me restless, which made me grumpy, which made me want to go outside! It finally dried so I went for a run and let off some steam.
On a totally separate note, is anyone fans of Stratovarius and considering their London Islington gig? Cos I kinda am
