this is my first journal entry, and it's a goodun. i figured i had better startgetting my money's worth out of this, and i've had such a crazy time in the last few days. mem day weekend i went to my dad's and installed a garage door for him, he just bought 74 acres in the mountains, and is retiring in style. there were deer everywhere, and i had a close encounter with a black bear on monday twice. the first time i saw him i scared him pretty good, and vice versa. then i grabbed a beer and my bino's and went looking for him. i found him alright! i had just bent down to look at some bear droppings and when i looked up he was staring right at me 25 feet or so away!!! so i made some noise and waived my hands, but he didn't flinch. so i made my way uphill slowly and that was the end of that. tuesday after work bob and i went motorcycle riding, and after, we drank some beers and decided to go into business together. the next night we went to see primus at the seahawks exhibition center and had a blast. i love my life!!
