Im not sure about the new horror comics...but you might want to check out Midnight, mass. (which I havent read yet) and Hellblazer.

Also, have you read 30 Days of Night? its REALLY good....although it moves a little TOO fast....it needs to slow down, breath a little but a really good story.

Also, there is a new book coming out call Lovecraft that you might want to check out too.
