I celebrated my three year anniversary of being smoke-free today. Aug. 27th, 2002, I put out my last cigarette, and hopped a plane to visit cklarock.
CK: Dude, don't quit while you're out here! You'll be a dick the whole time!
Me: It'll be okay, I promise. I'm gonna use the patch.
One week later, I took over as exec. chef. If any of you are thinking of quitting smoking, some advice: Do *not* quit right before you take over a job that doubles your stress. It sucks, trust me on this one, huh?
But, I lived through it, although the first six months are a little hazy.
