Today has been one of the most eventful days I've had this month.
My sister and I conquered Carteret County like no other!! I absolutely LOVE my sister.
She has the ability to crack me up no matter what!! We are sucha hoot together.
I'm surprized we dont have our own reality show
We need one.
Today has been very hectic.I'm tutoring at my local literacy coucil. Also a friend of mine opened a restaurant and Iam going to be the manager of that. So I've been busy putting together a menu and, blah, blah, blah...
I've seen so many cute kids. Kids are so innocent. I can't stand it. I wish I could take them all home with me. I met so many precious little ones today.
This one little boy in particular. He was two, He had a mohawk, and I couldn't stop thinking about how awesome he was. He kept talking to me about his favorite color, and how he loved babies. I thought it was so precious.
My Yoli bug was asleep in her car seat and he looks down at her and says "I love that baby!"
Gosh. Make my heart melt.
But throughout today, I gained self appreciation.
I work hard. And I deserve to feel pretty.
I AM MUTHER FUCKING GLAMOROUS!!
I think it's about time the rest of the world knew that.
I looked in the mirror after getting dressed this morning and I said "Damn, I'm pretty"
I've gained more confidence, more self respect, and more appreciation for myself.
I've come a long way, and I've let people walk all over me. No more I say!!
It's time for somthing new. It's time for me!
I feel like this is my time. I'm going to take advantage of it.

I haven't been gone, just busier than a cat with too many kittens Between work, and the photography work, and a non-profit I'm involved with and an invention I'm working on (and hoping to patent) and dealing with Mike (my son) looking at colleges, and all the usual family stuff, etc., I hardly know which end's up. But I'm always around if someone rattles my cage.
