the gimp... http://www.gimp.org/ is an image manipulation tool just as good as photoshop. and its free!
im stuck on photoshop. because its what i know. so i dont want to learn something different. but if you dont know photoshop. you could just as easilly learn the gimp.
and i can help you learn how to use it too
