Thursday was my first clinical at the JPS psychiatric ward. I thought it was kinda fun, but all the other nursing students are scared to death. (I guess it makes a difference when you are actually interested in psych nursing, ah well, to each his own) I got to work with a man who was in for psychosis nos. He told me he was in the car and starting hearing the devil and god's voices, and then he thought he was dead. Even though his he had tried to strangle his two ex-wives, he seemed like a descent guy, and he was really interested in getting help for himself.
