Man, I am smashed.
I went to Dante's for Sinferno and that turned out to be a good time -- packed as hell, as expected. I watched a friend's band play - Kandles At Nine. That was the first time I had seen them - they reminded me of a cross between Mudvayne and GWAR with the way they looked. They sounded pretty good too (partial thanks to my good buddy Gabe on the mixer).
I also got the chance to meet a guitarist of whom I am a big fan: Dino from Fear Factory! That was pretty cool. He was busy working security (pimpin da beeyotches) so I just shook his hand and went on my way. Turns out he is staying at my buddy Jimmy's place for a bit, which is cool.
Did I mention I am totally hammered? I have only hit the backspace key like 23,000 times in order to type this post...
I also ran into a friend I haven't seen in about a year and a half -- she's now living in New Zealand teaching Montessouri, and she is engaged. (wow!)
