Life is good, I love it here, although I hate to think what it would've been like trying to find my place in Chicago without my SG girls. They've been amazing. Meeting up with them the first week I was here gave me the confidence to realise I could make it work here, I could be my own person and find people to hang with and... yeah. It's good.
Work is long and tedious, but will be a great experience, looks good on the resume and will give me lots of contacts for my next step in life, so I use those thoughts to get through each day. It makes it difficult when I have no respect for my boss, but it's good that the other girl I work with is like a younger, sillier French version of me (we share ridiculous sense of humour, makes the days fun).
I miss home, and in particular certain people back home, but this is the perfect place for me right now and I'm so happy.
