It is actually, really, honest to goodnessy, summer here. and that means... less and less clothes! Whoohoo! I, myself, am a fan of the shorts and tank top fashion sense, and given my way, would never wear more than that. My feet are meant to be in sandles... my calves meant to be exposed, and my arms meant to be bare, it is just the simple truth. However, what I like best abotu summer, is not my own near nakedness... but that of others! I love to see men and women alike dressed for the heat, There is something so compelling about the almost naked, that it is extremely difficult to keep one's eyes where they should be, and not have them wandering all over person to person. I love skimpy clothing, I love the underlying sexuality that seems to be there, when people are not afraid or ashamed of their bodies... it is a bit of a contradiction for me, because I always, even in summer, try to cover up my predominanent belly, yet I am delighted to see a woman with a belly, not afraid to show she has one. Too long have the fashion police been shoving stick thin women down our throats as examples of what is supposed to be sexy and stylish. Curvy women are damn sexy! And to see fashion that allows them to have a tank or tube top, and not have to feel sel-conscious about the belly is something that fills my heart with happiness! I adore seeing women become more confident in themselves and their bodies, and to fly in the face of the anorexic hoards that somehow are supposed to be representative of what is sexy.
Now, if I could just get over my own insecurity about my size.

I hear it's really hot and muggy there lately.
God, I miss home. Just another month and a week left. frown
