So sleep hasnt really happened. Shortly after the paper was handed in, Jill's uncle passed away. What ensued following that was a combination of the normal Christmas rush and helping her family. House / dog sitting for a couple of days... then people arriving home for the holidays, then all the standard holiday stuff... and now it is the 2nd of Janusary and I am still just wanting to spend a couple of days doing NOTHING!
I only have to finish one course this semester to finish my degree, so I am actively looking for a job, so that I will have some sort of income for when May comes. Hard time of year to be looking for work =-( but there area couple of options at least.... keeping my fingers crossed for them.
I still have no idea where I will be doing my MA. The choices remain here, Queens or Laurier... it all comes down to funding and opportunity at this point. I have already been accepted here, and have been told I will receive funding so that is a bonus... the other two don't make their decisions until February / March... so they remain unknown varients.
The half sleeve is half finished now... and a new appointment next week I believe, iirc, so I am looking forwardto that... only two sessions to go til it is complete... have to try and get as much in as I can before I head out... Dave at Troublebound
does all of my work for me and I am very comfortable with him being the guy.... and it would feel kind of strange at this point to have someone else do my work... so if I am leaving then I need to get in as many as I can =)
I think I have run out of things tha I want pierced however, and have gauged my ears as large as I want to go at this point... maybe a second industrial would be alright, butt hat would mean another expensive barbell... so that will have to wait a while... maybe as a birthday / grad present.... who knows =)
At any rate... I think I will curl up with G RR MArtin's A Game of Thrones and see if I can;t lull myself into slumber... Happy New Year!
