So, I made it back from Austin alive. It was probably the best week of my life. I wasn't in my office for 12 hours a day, the weather was PERFECT, there were free booze everywhere and I saw a ton of great bands.
Highlights include:
Deer Tick
AA Bondy
Lucero
The Weakerthans
Billy Bragg
The Gaslight Anthem
American Princes
Heavenly States
and besides Deer Tick, the best single thing I probably saw was NOFX doing all of Punk in Drublic, which was my favorite album in 1995 in my key developmental years.
