SXSW update:
So, I have a lot of solid plans at this point and still think that I will have a lot of drinking time despite meetings and such I have to do for work. If anyone else is headed down, make recommendations whether it's parties, bands, etc.
Sort of eclectic but I'm looking forward to AA Bondy, Akron/Family, Asobi Seksu, The Blow, Brothers & Sisters, Castanets, The Cool Kids, The Cribds, Destroyer, El-P, The Gaslight Anthem, Her Space Holiday, High on Fire, Longhorne Slim, The Lemonheads, Lucero, Eugene Mirman, My Morning Jacket, Nada Suef, Oh No! Oh My!, Okkervil River, Ours and so on and so on and so on...
Also. my friends and I rented this house that's a mile or twooutside of downtown. Apparently cabs can be hard to get sometimes so my friend posted this this hilarious ad on Craigslist. God help whoever replies.
Other than that, work is going well. I made two gigantic upsells this week. One for a company record. Yay Account Management. I have to be getting a raise at my next review. I'll be pissed if I don't. Anyone who knows me knows that I give this job my soul. Granted my job is working with festivals, etc, but still. It's all I ever do or think about.
It would be nice if when my lady friend came down from NH it didn''t cost me a month's salary to take her out and have some fun. I mean, I could tone it down a bit I guess but I'm amourous andcan't help it.
