So here's what's new with me in the past 2 months:

1) I moved. I know reside in Jamaica Plain, MA, which is technically still part of Boston. I guess as much as Allston ever was.

2) I got a raise at my job, which rocks. Also, after my review I'm optimistic about my future with my company, which I had not been for some time.

3) I do not have cable so I've been getting lots of stuff done. I never realized that TV was getting in the way of living so much. On the flipside though, I can't just wake up tomorrow and watch football all day at home, which really blows. I either have to go to a bar or sit in someone else's house. They're expensive or slightly uncomfortable options though, respectively.

4) I started reading my first Hemingway book - The Sun Also Rises. He's one of those authors that I know so much about but have never bothered to read before. I'll keep you posted (maybe)

5) I made it through wedding season. I attended 4 in the last two months. I have another one coming up in Novemeber but it's here in Boston so it won't be too bad.

6) Both of my "wingmen" are leaving town this month. One's headed to Philly, the other Colorado. If you're a dude, hate the really collegey bars but love chasing women, please let me know.

And although I'm sure a lot of other stuff has happened to me, that's all I can think of right now. I had a rad time hanging with Poppy last night and hope that it's not so long 'til I see her again.
