I was all prepared for a happy catch up post - it's been far to long since my last entry. I had all these fun things I wanted to write about, but the only thing I can think about right now is this big ass fire here in Tahoe. It's getting frighteningly close. No orders to evacuate yet, but I fear it's only a matter of time.

For those of you who have never had to deal with a forest fire - it's truly bizarre. It's sucks to think of what could potentially happen, but as a sick twist to it all, the air smells like a campfire and the sunsets are amazing.

Any good thoughts sent this way will truly be appreciated.
