here's what is looks like now (it looks a 100 times better than when it happened, but i spoilered the pictures for those who have really weak stomachs)
The surface skin injuries are mild, but the gun shot a metric fuck ton of water into my thumb and blew it up, so i can't really bend it at the knuckle because the swelling and tissue damage is really bad there. on top of that, the bruising goes all the way back into my hand. So this little adventure started about 2 hours from home at around 5 o'clock. The job i was doing didn't finish up until 10 and i didn't get back into town until right around midnight. I did luck out though, the ER i went to at 1230 in the morning wasn't busy at all (thank god) but they did hold me until almost 5am in order to take several rounds of x-rays and pump me full of IV antibiotics. So here i am, a couple days later and i can barely use the thumb on my left hand 
i feel that this could make my dive today rather painful lol Other than the fucked up though, i am loving the hours i've been pulling recently (my week is Sunday through Saturday) and here on Thursday i started the day at 38 hours for the week so far, i am overtime after 40 so these next two days are all gravy since i am going to be working 20 hours through today and tomorrow 
Though there is this little development....
i feel that this could make for a long and rather moist day lol
In other news, i am still really hoping to get some playtime next weekend and take at least one night to enjoy myself. I am still looking at trying to get a little house party together on 22nd, but who knows, at the rate i am going i'll probably end up working through the next few weekends anyway
