I was so close to coming home a day early, damn it... But I'm happy that I'll be home Thursday night and I'll get to spends part of my morning with my little girl.
One thing that's been real cool is I went out and grabbed a cheapo web cam while I've been here in North Carolina so not only have I been able to see Ashley while we talk, but she was ever so kind to set the computer up in the house so I could see Raegan. She wasn't too fond of the whole daddy on the video screen concept on our first go, but by the second time she was all about it, talking to me and grabbing my face on the screen, she even tried to shove one of her books through the screen to share it with me lol. I've been so proud of the way Ashley has handled the baby and the house and getting things together for the wedding while I've been gone (this the longest I've been gone since we've been together) it's been such a load off my mind to know that everything is ok at home. I'm thinking I'm going to have to take her out this weekend as a thank you :-)
On a totally unrelated note, I'm very strongly pondering a move to behind the camera; I was a model for years and did a bunch of work on the production side, it might be fun to get back in the game a little and do some shoots, hell after a little brushing up I may even try to shoot for SG lol though I doubt my style fits too well here lol.
