I woke up almost totally unwilling to wake up as there was a great noisy thunderstorm going on and to me that is the perfect time to sleep or....well you know...So anyway I wanted to wake up only to go to Karate class. I woke up 10 min late almost deciding not to go. I got in the car and speeded down the road and went around various Slow drivers. I ended up getting stuck behind a farming vehicle and It was really going very slow and I wondered why in god's name is such a vehicle even allowed on a city street when clearly there is no farm for miles and miles...Anyway I was about to pull in to a pay lot and another slow ass driver drivng a van crept his way into the last spot but I got lucky because I found a broken metor..I could park there all day for free because it was broke. I stumble into class missing the warm up which no doubt was shadow boxing and maybe light jogging. we were doing cresent kicks and my partner he was good at it accept for the aiming part and he nailed me in the arm like 4 times hard (he should have hit the pad but somehow missed) I was actually amazed even though it hurt like hell getting kick in the arm by a kick that a person is throwing there body weight into (not a small person either) I was amazed because I didnt not fall to the ground like a sack of patato's like I might have imagined and two even though my arm took a hell of a beating it didnt ache etc afterwards. I did get him once in the arms also after that. when Iam doing the stuff I want to know how to do it but I dont so much care about using full force as it is a practice drill. In real life situation sure i would want to go all out but practice is practice. Then after that ..which it lasted a long time bc we did front and rear leg crecent kick with side kick and a roundhouse. Then we did sticks which I have had some practice in the classes with but I have not spent any time outside of class practicing so I felt i did bad with them. Still If i was walking down the street and I had one in my hand then I think i would do pretty dam alright especially if the other person had no clue at all.
