Snakes On A Plane Award!
...goes to the former King of Clubs on Brooks Road in Memphis, TN!
Last night a man was shot at this strip club which had been temporarily shut down last December due to allegations of prostition. (which, by the way, were true. I've been in that club with a guy I know from Baton Rouge who used to love to go there when he came to town. He often paid girls for a hand job back in the VIP room. Some of the girls would also carry condoms with them and straddle guys who paid a "tip.")
The court ordered this club to clean up their act which included getting new girls, new management and a new name. Well, it's no longer called the King of Clubs, but I don't think their current name is what the judge had in mind: Black Tail Shake Joint.
The new name is not subtle, but there is something to be said about truth in advertising...of course, it really should be called Black Tail Shake-n-Shoot Joint.
