What the f!ck!

Here are some of the cd purchases I've made over the past couple of weeks: new releases from Placebo, Neko Case, Babyshambles, Shooter Jennings, Rhett Miller, and P!nk.

Wait, what was that? Did that just read P!nk?

I've been a Pink fan, but I'm getting the feeling that her new one is going to quickly become my least favorite of hers. Her singing is the best it's ever been, but most of the songs have a real "generic" feel to them. It's almost like I'm listening to a Kelly Clarkson cd. Well, if Kelly Clarkson cussed a whole lot more...

And I don't think this is one of those crazy Prince name-changing to a symbol things, but everywhere her name appears on the cd cover, spine, etc, it's spelled with an exclamation point...P!nk. She should have titled the cd "I'm Gumby, Dammit!"



Actually, she's always had that thing in her name on the cd covers, it just really stands out to me more now...
