I heard that Marilyn Chambers died and although she was a bit "before my time", I still thought it pertinent to honor her by watching "Beyond the Green Door". I've never been huge into vintage porn, but I think I could stand to watch some more. It's a totally different experience than watching the super-hardcore, hyper real, and plasticized fuck-flicks that abound these days. The sheer amounts of body hair are overwhelming for the uninitiated but not wholly unwelcome. There is also a distinct variety in the body types of the stars and starlets. Some are fat, some are tall, and a bit of everything in between. There is also a notable lack of the "oh, oh, fuckme harder!" overacting that is fairly ubiquitous nowadays.

Anyway - I recommend it. And hey, if anyone wants to come over and watch it WITH me, I won't say no.
