(i posted this in the boards and have since been reminded by something someone said once. Liberals love america like an adult in that it sees the imperfections and wants to fix them so as to make it that much better because it cares. Conservatives love america like a child. Stubbornly defending its loved one and getting angry or defensive at anyone who says anything but praise. Sometimes the child will admit the error, but only to then blithely ignore the problem with excuses like it could be worse or so what)
Y'know im a student of deductive reasoning, and Ive been thinking alot about why Secret left, and why Ravyn left and others and though I dont have the specific answers why, it bothered me nonetheless.
Then today i was going through the "Sets of the Day" section, looking for a paticular set i couldnt quite remember and by the time I hit page 15 I realized something. Alot of specific Suicidegirls show up much more so than others...
Now obviously you cant get a set up that you dont submit, but many SG's complain about how long it takes to get their set up, while from the looks of the "Sets of the Day" section, some girls have no trouble at all.
So adding all this together, one can come to only one conclusion.
That if you arent friends or even liked by the powers that be at Suicidegirls, you will have a much harder time getting your set up, it AT ALL.
Not only that but I've seen alot of photos of SG's at conventions and crap and some of those girls are some of the same whose sets go up quite a bit. So one could also come to a second conclusion.
Thats if youre not willing or even able to help for the company in the same respect, it seems like it may, unwittingly or purposefully, be held against you.
Now I wouldnt say SG is an evil or wrong company. I wouldnt shell out money if i did.
Though sometimes stuff slips through the cracks. ONE paticular manager at SG, who no ones noticed is a prick, OR maybe one of the people in charge of set approval forgets to not be SO personal with the Girls, thus making decisions on who they like or dont like, OR maybe a girl who may get upset about why her set hasnt been approved when its months old gets angry with the wrong person, OR maybe when sets are chosen, just one person MAY say, "we can only choose one to go up today, make it hers, these other girls have been waiting longer, but SHE was at that last convention and did a good job."
And like THAT, it starts. People are ignored, and tensions build, and ineptitude and favoritism sets in, and before you know it, you cant figure out why some people shit on the site.
In the end we must remember that even the most fair-minded companies are run by people. People with emotions who are sometimes stupid and petty. Now i dont say this to give SG a pass on the lack of fairness, but rather i say it to make the point...
